TV "Culture" (Russia)

Description: The All-Russian state TV channel "Culture" is approved by the Decree of the President of the Russian Federation dated August 25, 1997 #919. There were such distinguished representatives of the Russian intellectuals as Dmitriy Likhachev, Mstislav Rostropovich and the other prominent figures of culture and art in the number of the initiators of its creation. Since there and till present the TV channel "Culture" remains the single nation-wide channel without commercials.
